Manly Community Centre

A community site for an organisation that wanted to maintain their site themselves.

Visit

Manpower

Manpower required a simple intranet site for a staff incentive program. This site was actually launched before their new global public site, and was therefore more of a style guide and interperatation exercise than a design piece.

Visit

Qantm Connect

Developed as an initiative to connect students to resources on the internet. The site hosts bookmarks, student graduation photos, sample projects, internship candidates, teacher blogs to name but a few of the sections.

Smiths/Pepsi

Two giants of the snack trade held a conference on the Gold Coast, for which they required a registration site with a beach theme. It was a delight to break away from the usual restrictions associated with corporate work.

Telstra IP

An internal educational 3 minute scripted animation. This project required custom icons to simplify abstract concepts and simply ‘ugly’ technology. Animated icons and a clean background gave this project a stylish look whilst adhering to brand guidelines.

A personal project. I have developed this site for the past 8 years and members update content.

Australian Certified Organic

First Tuesday

Logo design for a monthly internet entrepeneur group.

The Big Break

A conference with a beach theme for two snack makers hosted on the Gold Coast. The idea was to break the ice amongst the suits with a laid back ‘surfing cool’ motif.

The Strength Within

A conference held in Vietnam needed staff to focus on their current strengths. Based upon a stylised lotus leaf (the national flower of Vietnam) this logo again calls upon culture and history to convey the idea of unrealised inner beauty blossoming outwards.

Astro SuperSport

Dynamic action figures with motion trails help the Malayasian cable network Astro grab the viewers attention. These animations were carried across the entire channel branding.

Better Homes TV

This project is a preview of the D.I.Y. segment on the Chanel 7 show Better Homes and Gardens. I render the components with an archictectural style, then animate them coming together.

Channel Ten

A self promotion campaign for summer programming, requiring template design for a total of 30 different edits. Simple 3D animation and stock footage kept the project on time and on budget.

Geneon

Japan’s largest film and distribution company required an animated logo to precede film screening. This project uses the interplay of light to slowly reveal the companies logo. In high definition this project really shines! Multiple layers in Illustrator and clever masks assested by light rays was a challenge.

General Pants cinema advertisment

Logo animation and video edit for General Pants. Many of the clips used were actually personal footage of various staff members.

Illy Films

Illy Coffee sponsored a winter film festival in new York. Working remotely we created this 3D cup for them. The formation of the ‘e’ in espresso combined with filmic elements makes this an emotive piece, of which I am especially proud.

ING Foundation Ball

This project involved the modeling, texturing and animation of a castle for a charity event. I had the assistance of internship students who did a wonderful job.

Jenson

This project features ‘freeze time’ (a la Matrix) on a video budget! cut together with hundreds of client still images it makes heros of the talent, just the thing needed for a staff presentation. This project also featured a 3D element, which was cut with the video to create a heightened level of sophistication.

Kent

An ultra-modern video wallpaper was needed for the launch of Kent. Animated speaker support ran on a loop, reinforcing the lecture content of the speakers.

Otis

Filmed in high definition this video features hundreds of dominos to convey the idea of each employee is a link in the chain. To the old saying I can now add my own wisdom - never work with animals, small children, or dominos!

Motion graphics for the Australian product launch.

Qantas Heavy

Qantas required a motivational video to showcase the abilities of workers in two different departments and highlight their team work. A clean edit with clean graphic cut-aways did the trick.
